Sermons, 1672-1674.

This is a collection of the sermons of John Higginson, copied by an unknown person. Only two of the sermons are dated: 8 June [16]72 and 19 July [16]74. Sermons by eight other persons are included, but their names are indecipherable, (e.g., does "Madar" equal "Mather"?). Sermons copied on recto pages run from front cover to back cover; sermons copied on verson pages run from back cover to front cover, and in the opposite direction on the page. The first leaf has been torn from the volume. The poor spelling and poor penmanship make this an extremely difficult volume to read.

1 v. (138 leaves) ; octavo.
